About Us

Opening in late 2021 around a kitchen table, as a one-woman band, Ashley started HSE Advice UK whilst working full time as a Group Health and Safety Manager for a children's care and education organisation. Ashley dedicated her weekends to the few clients she had, helping them remain compliant.

In the May of 2022, Ashley took the leap of faith and made her vision a full time reality. By August 2022, Ashley recruited childhood friend, Tiffany to take under her wing as Health and Safety Advisor with the eventual goal of become a first class consultant.

After hours upon hours of hard work and dedication, it all paid off in 2023 when HSE Advice UK won the Best New Business Award at the Best of the Bay Awards and becoming finalists is the EVAs and BIBAs, propelling the business in to the spotlight for many other businesses requiring help with their Health and Safety compliance.

As the number of clients grew and became more diverse, there was a clear need for team expansion. In December of 2023, Chris joined the HSE Advice UK team as a Health and Safety Advisor.

January 2024 saw another new addition to the business as Georgia joined the team as the company's first T-Level student from Lancaster and Morecambe College. Showing a keen interest in the ever-changing world of health and safety, Georgia quickly grasped the bull by the horns and set out to learn all there is to know about becoming a positive and proactive Health and Safety Consultant.

2024 continued to be a year of exciting changes and developments with the launch of Bubblewrap. A campaign to raise awareness of the importance of business compliance for fellow growing businesses. This saw the launch of the Bubblewrap Podcast aimed at small to medium sized businesses to provide regular tips and advice to stay compliant. from safety to HR and other legal requirements.

With much, much more on the horizon, we at HSE Advice UK can't wait to see where this journey takes us next.

Our Purpose and Values

Purpose

We recognise that health, safety and compliance is often stigmatised and stereotyped as being boring, negative and a bit of a dry topic. Most people hear "health and Safety" and think, hard hat, hi-vis vest and clipboard. We've set out to change peoples perception of health and safety and to encourage engagement to prove that health and safety doesn't have to be fun-sponge.

We aim to work with our clients to not only support and improve their compliance, but to improve the organisations health and safety culture as well, leading to a increased motivation, productivity and safer practices.

Values

We pride ourselves on our four P's values and believe they set us a cut above the rest.

Positive

We believe in having a positive outlook in all situations. Every problem has a solution.

Practical

We take a practical approach in everything we do to ensure the best result possible.

Proactive

We believe in solving the problem before it arises.

Personal

We work closely with our clients to understand their business, values and culture in order provide a bespoke and personalised service.
